BAGS (the “Service”) helps merchants accept payments globally as a Merchant of Record. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

Account and business details you provide during onboarding (KYB).
Transaction, invoice, and settlement data needed to operate the Service.
Webhook configuration (endpoint URLs and related delivery metadata).
Technical data like IP address and basic device/browser metadata for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.

How we use data

Operate checkout, settlement, compliance, and invoicing.
Detect abuse, secure accounts, and meet legal obligations.
Improve product reliability and support.

How we share data

We share data with service providers that help us run BAGS (for example: infrastructure, analytics, identity/KYB vendors, tax calculation, and communications). We share only what is reasonably necessary to provide the Service or comply with law.

Data retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet legal, accounting, and compliance obligations. Retention may vary by data type (e.g., transaction records are typically retained longer than marketing communications).
